An open section for pasting your own custom code - useful for embedding something the theme doesn’t have a built-in section for, like a third-party widget or a specially designed banner. Intended for merchants comfortable working with code.
Section Link
Makes the entire section clickable, linking it to a product or category.
- Link Type - whether the section links to No Link, a Product, or a Category.
- Select Product - the product the section links to, when Link Type is Product.
- Select Category - the category the section links to, when Link Type is Category.
- Open in New Tab - when on, the link opens in a new browser tab instead of replacing the current page.
- Link Description (accessibility) - a short text description of the link, used for accessibility and search engines; not shown visually.
Content Width
Whether the section’s content stays contained within the normal page width (like other sections), or stretches to the Full Width of the browser window.
Content Alignment
Whether the content aligns to the start, the center, or the end of the section.
Background Color
The background color behind the section.
Top & Bottom Padding
How much empty space appears above and below the content, in pixels.
HTML Code
The custom code that renders inside this section. Whatever is entered here appears directly on the storefront exactly as written.
